The weekend of 18-20 June 2010 witnessed an event that called for renewed commitment of the friends to intensify the growth of the Cause especially in clusters, which had launched intensive programs of growth. About forty members of the institutions including members of the National Assembly, Regional Councils, and members of the Local Spiritual Assemblies and Area Growth Committee of Kuching cluster met with Counsellor George Soraya and Auxiliary Board Members at the Kuching Bahá΄í Centre to study the 2010 Ridvan message.

The 7th National Institutional meeting was successfully held at Li Hua Hotel Bintulu from 30th to 31 October. A hunderd and thirty members of the various Baha’i Institutions and friends were present during the two days meeting. Also present at the meeting were Counsellor George Soraya, seven members of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Sarawak, Board members Dr. Shehab Phung, Kalong Katiik, Mail Ingkai and Mdm Tan Ing Kheng.

During the visit of Counsellor G. Soraya to Miri on 18-19 August 2007, two rural communities had the honour of hosting a gathering held in conjunction with the visit. The first visit was to Sungai Nipa in Bakong cluster and the second to Rumah Tambi, in Niah cluster. In both gatherings, the focus is on increasing the number of tutors for study circles and having more children’s classes and junior youth groups.
