From 30 November till 8 December, two members of the BOAW, Maria Peter and Dayang Genam of Kuching conducted a women’s conference at Bintulu Bahá’í Centre and a course on Guidance for Bahá’í Marriage and Government Laws at Rh. Payments of Huqúqu’lláh should be made only through the Deputy or Representative of Huqúqu’lláh. In quite reliable circumstances, it may occasionally be channelled through the local or national spiritual assembly. But this should not be a usual route for transmission of Huqúqu’lláh funds. If money is sent through spiritual assemblies, they will issue a receipt. When the money is given to the Office of Huqúqu’lláh, we have to issue another receipt. This causes confusion with accounting when two receipts are issued for the same sum of money.
