Letter from the Deputy of Huqúqu’lláh, Dr. John Fozdar
Posted in Addresses on 16 July 2008

Payments of Huqúqu’lláh should be made only through the Deputy or Representative of Huqúqu’lláh. In quite reliable circumstances, it may occasionally be channelled through the local or national spiritual assembly. But this should not be a usual route for transmission of Huqúqu’lláh funds. If money is sent through spiritual assemblies, they will issue a receipt. When the money is given to the Office of Huqúqu’lláh, we have to issue another receipt. This causes confusion with accounting when two receipts are issued for the same sum of money.
