Ascension of Baha’u’llah

Organised by the LSA of Kuching City North, this year’s commemoration of the passing of Baha’u’llah started at 10pm at the Centre. Over 20 friends came to the event with each family bringing roses as a token of their love for Baha’u’llah. The evening started with a long devotion. This was followed with a talk by Neilson on the uniqueness of the Covenant of Baha’u’llah. Mr. Parviz Bidanjiri then gave a talk on the important events in the Life of Baha’u’llah, from His early age until His Passing in Akka. Programme also included a prayer vigil carried out on a 15-minute rotation basis from 12.30am to 2.45am, and a brief study conducted by Neilson on intensive growth and teaching. The commemoration ended at 3am with a reading of the Tablet of Visitation by Parviz.
